14.-15.5.2011 Qualifying trial Čelina
We were looking forward to Celina, because we knew that we will meet up again with Eric Barfoot. Eric is the president of the Irish Sheepdog Society, a great handler, but mainly a great person. During the trial I was very nervous because Eric was the one who brought Bess for me from Frankie McCullough. Everything turned out well in the end and we received compliment from him and we finished on third place.Max and Martin were sixth and I have to say that their shed and single were excellent. Well done boys!!!!! Trial had clasical set up with Outrun, Lift, Fetch, Drive, Shed, Pen, Single. The sheep cooperated until the moment it came to sheding. Many of us were really chalanged by sheding and single so we had to keep trying until the time ran out. However, I really enjoyed the trial. For me it was the first Continental qialification trial. I hope we keep up the good work and maybe next time we will reprsent our country abroad........
